Plushie projects often require multiple prototype revision rounds before production can begin, and this is a normal part of the process.
Each sample round helps the creator and factory refine:
- proportions and sitting balance
- embroidery details
- hair and accessory shapes
- sewing structure
- facial expression placement
- overall silhouette
The first sample is the factory’s first physical translation of the 2D character art, so creators often request adjustments after seeing the plush in real life.
Because every revision must return to the factory’s design team and then come back for creator review, this stage can take time before the final sample is approved.
